CCMS Dress code
Challenge Prep Middle School strictly enforces an appropriate uniform dress code for all scholars.
School uniforms are mandatory Monday through Friday. Click for the 2019-20 uniform examples and ordering info or see below.
Yellow CCMS gym t-shirt and burgundy CCMS sweat suits are permitted for only on gym days.
On every Monday, and Assembly days ALL scholars will be required to wear the CCMS Assembly uniform—white buttoned-down shirt/blouse; khaki slacks/skirts; burgundy blazer; plaid tie; burgundy socks/tights; and black shoes/sneakers.
ALL POLOS MUST HAVE CCMS LOGO and scholars’ uniform polos by grade are as follows:
o Grade 6: Yellow
o Grade 7: Burgundy
o Grade 8: Grey
Boys may not wear earrings. Girls may wear small post or small hoop (no larger than a dime) earrings only.
ALL: shorts and skirts no shorter than knee length.
Girls’ socks/tights should be burgundy and shoes should be black.
ALL: No body piercings.
Skinny jeans, ripped jeans, joggers, and cargo pants are NOT permitted for any scholar.
Belts should be solid black and no wider than two inches.
Scholars arriving at school without the required uniform will not be admitted to class and the parent will be contacted immediately. Parent must bring in uniform or pick up scholar to go home. Scholars are not allowed to wear Spirit Day shirts to class if it is not a designated Spirit Day. Violation of the uniform policy results in the outlined behavioral consequences in the CCMS 2019-20 Student/Parent Handbook.
